For over two decades the Elderly Care Law Firm has improved lives with our portfolio of custom, transparent legal services. Led by Tieesha Taylor, work resolving problems and strategies crafted to proactively prevent new ones. From Estate and Medicaid planning, to special needs, guardianships, probate, veterans benefits, and more, advocacy rendered with compassion, approachability, and emotional support. Planning, protecting and providing you peace of mind, as we laugh, cry and work together you’ll feel understood and truly supported.
The uncomfortable truth is that the elderly need more and deserve better. Our Elder Law services deliver it. Planning, protection and peace of mind. And every case comes with a commitment to you and your family. You’re not a number and your case isn’t just the next case. It’s about you and your life and we never forget that. Our firm is defined and guided by the core values we live by. Our methods feature actionable insight from decades of experience helping the elderly to thrive, not just survive.
Sadly, the elderly are too often exploited, and the law can feel unjustly turned against them. We fight back on behalf of our clients. Even lawyers like us can enjoy a good lawyer joke, but when expert, compassionate legal help is urgently needed, finding the right lawyer is no joke. Our pledge is to resolve immediate issues, protect against new ones, and customize plans for peace of mind. Our promise: We see you, we hear you, and we’ll advocate tirelessly for you.
Meeting elder law challenges requires a big-picture understanding and real-world solutions that go far beyond housing to include all the elements that comprise a happier, more secure life: estate planning, Medicaid planning, special needs planning, probate, adult guardianships, veterans’ benefits, and estate and property litigation. These are areas of law that are personal, often urgent, and emotional, demanding compassion, empathy, and a genuine commitment to protecting every client’s rights and dignity.
Elder law is about family, and you and your family can expect help navigating the complex legal issues of aging, disability, and long-term care. We provide clear, understandable guidance for creating a special needs trust for a disabled child, protecting assets through Medicaid planning, or advocating for a veteran’s benefits. When highly contentious matters such as probate disputes or guardianship challenges arise, our goal is always to preserve family harmony wherever possible.
My original intention was to develop better age-restricted housing options in South Florida. Work at the City of Miami’s Model City Trust provided me insight into low-income housing challenges. Later, I gained a builder’s perspective at D.R. Horton, the largest homebuilder in America. Both were invaluable, but it was volunteer work investigating complaints against assisted living and nursing facilities that inspired a broader vision for our law firm.
Our approach begins with bringing the complex down to earth and genuinely caring for our clients and their families. Compassionate, personalized legal services are delivered with expertise and sensitivity, drawn from years of elder law experience. Clear communication keeps you informed, not in the dark. And thanks to our holistic approach that addresses every area of your life—legal, financial, and emotional—you’ll feel confident and empowered.
To protect your rights and dignity, every client can count on the support, mentorship, and advocacy they need and deserve—always with clear communication. We’re not an assembly-line firm. We take a client-centric, holistic approach to managing life and death, long-term care, and safeguarding families by finding optimal solutions. For your best outcome and well-being, we provide personalized legal services that reflect our expertise, compassion, and humanity.

Richard Bee2025-01-31 I strongly and highly recommend "Elderly Care Law Firm of Miami, Florida," to all Veterans. Attorney Tieesha Taylor and her staff( Jeri, Thea, Atty Kathryn), all do an excellent job in helping Veterans. Attorney Taylor and her staff work tirelessly and diligently for my dad, as he struggles with the Veteran Administration to get all benefits that he is entitled as a Disabled American Veteran. Without the help of Elderly Care Law Firm, my dad" would not" have been able to survive through this frustrating and tedious process that he is faced with against the Veterans Administration. My dad is a disabled Korean War Veteran. He was a proud soldier who enlisted to serve his country. He rushed to serve and he served his country well. Now, at his present age and in his advance stages of a frail life, Elderly Care Law Firm continues to fight, for my dad to get him the full benefits that he deserves. I tip my hat off to Attorney Taylor and her staff for being there for my dad and for all Veterans past, present and future, that they will continue to help. I highly recommend all Veteran's needing legal help or assistance to contact Elderly Care Law Firm. "They are true to the core and will never leave you standing alone". Pedro Es2025-01-22 It has been a Great experience dealing with such a professional staff and extremely knowledgeable individuals, and at the same time making you feel like family, and knowing they have your back, Julie Mawdsley2024-12-30 From the very beginning of our journey with Elderly Care Law Firm we were treated with care and consideration. The whole team was on hand to walk us through all aspects of our needs during our complex situation. The whole process took 4 years and they were happy to take a small upfront payment in the knowledge they would recover costs from the third party. We are in the UK and there were many hurdles to jump over here before they could proceed fully, hence the timescale. Nothing was too much trouble and we cannot thank the team enough for resolving our case Gustafson Lyn2024-12-19 I am extremely impressed with Elderly Care Law Firm. My 30 year Retired Vietnam Vet husband passed away on October 24,2021. He joined the US Navy and served 3 tours in Vietnan (he was only 17 when he joined)He was on the USS Duncan that was stationed off rhe coast of Vietnam within 2 miles off shore the majority of his 'tours'. Although he was a 'radioman' and was boots on ground with a 'escort of 14 Marines. He communicated with his ship and others about troops movements and calling in artillery fire from some of those ships. He left the Navy after his 3rd tour of NAM. He came back into the military after 6 years of being a civilian. He joined the Army. Served a total of 30 years. He retired as a CSM (E9) with a distinguished and diverse career. He served with honor on bases in Korea, Germany, TDY to Thailand, Japan .... Long Story Short...his entire career he had health issues. Some connected to Agent Orange but, because the sailors (NAVY) were not even considered to get benefits until 2019 when the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Dave Grek2024-12-17 My experience with the Elderly Care Law Firm was more than I could have ever hoped for.
