About Us
WE HAVE A HOLISTIC APPROACH IN A TRADITIONAL INDUSTRY
What makes our holistic approach to traditional elder law and estate planning unique is our focus on ensuring our solutions match up to our clients’ core values and larger goals for their lives and the needs of their families. We also work with clients to draft legacy statements, parenting statements and plan ways beyond the law to pass on traditions and values.
Maintain Harmonious Family Relations
The focus of our practice is helping families and individuals to efficiently achieve their legal goals while working to maintain as fully as possible family harmony and personal dignity. As a result, our firm tries to emphasize non-litigated conflict resolutions, especially between family members, whenever possible.
Best Practices in All We Do
Consistent with the approach we take to client services, we endeavor to have our firm practices be consistent with our values as a firm. To this end, we use best practices with regard to pro bono service, environmental sustainability and community involvement.
OUR STAFF
Tieesha N. Taylor, Esq.
Owner/CEO
Tieesha founded the Elderly Care Law Firm of Tieesha N. Taylor, P.A. as a way of addressing a need she saw in the community for compassionate, values-based advocacy and legal services; and as a way to develop a legal practice that was consistent with her own personal values and legal philosophy.

She saw that as a blessing in disguise because she had more time to devote to community service. She began volunteering with the Florida Long Term Care Ombudsman Council as an advocate for residents in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and adult family care homes. As an Ombudsman, Tieesha met a wonderful elderly woman whose rights were removed through a guardianship proceeding. Tieesha advocated on her behalf and worked with the woman’s attorney in getting her rights restored. That experience completely changed her life and from that very moment she knew that her purpose in life was to advocate for the elderly and our most vulnerable citizens.
Since founding the Elderly Care Law Firm, Tieesha has had the opportunity to work with individuals and families in a variety of situations. Although the bulk of her practice is advocacy for the elderly, she also works with disabled individuals, veterans, business owners, blended families, the terminally ill, unmarried couples and lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgendered families. It is her experience that each family, no matter how traditional or non-traditional, is truly unique and, once you get to know them, have unique needs.
When she is not practicing law, Tieesha volunteers her time providing educational presentations at senior centers, places of worship and to professional organizations. She enjoys relaxing with her family, friends and two cats (Leo and Sky) and she loves spending as much time as possible outdoors.
